Your 2012 Ms. District of Columbia United States is Tina Montgomery.
Tina is a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and resides in McLean, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. Tina's platform is "Your Voice, Your Vote!" which has allowed her to meet the First Lady of the United States and appear on MTV while empowering people in the DMV area to become more engaged in their communities. Her favorite activities are coaching and cheerleading, and she was recently a cheerleader for the Washington Nationals.
The Ms. division includes women ages 25-55 who are single. The Ms. division allows for titleholders to have had children and have previously been married. The goal of the Ms. United States program is to empower women to use experience within their families and careers to lead other women in the platform of their choice. Local and national titleholders receive prize packages and many opportunities in the industries of fashion, media and community service.
Tina will compete for the title of 2012 Ms. United States this summer at the national pageant in Washington, D.C. in the areas of evening gown, swimwear, and interview.
