ABOUT THE MISS UNITED STATES ORGANIZATION
The Miss United States Organization is based on a solid commitment to uphold the standards of fairness and integrity. We pride ourselves in providing an avenue for each young woman to give a voice to those needing to be heard, lend a hand to those less fortunate, and be a compass for those daring to dream.
At the local, state, and national level the Miss United States Organization gives women the opportunity to promote a platform of community service. The pageant system allows young women all over the country to interact and discuss their achievements in service and volunteerism. It promotes the intellect, moral character and personal engagement of its outstanding participants as they pursue success in achievement.
DIVISIONS, age must be valid as of July 7, 2013: - Miss (age 20-29)
- Ms. (age 25-55)
- Teen (age 16-19)
- Junior Teen (age 13-15)
- Pre Teen (age 10-12)
- Little Miss (age 8-9)

SCHEDULE & CONTEST INFORMATION:
- February 1 - $50 deposit earns you $100 off your entry fee
- March 15 - $50 deposit earns you $50 off your entry fee
- April 26 - Final deadline to register - $350.00 entry fee - There are no additional entry fees for attire, ads, etc!
- Earn an additional $25 discount from registration fees by referring a friend or family member to any division within the Miss Delaware or Miss District of Columbia United States pageant taking place on May 5, 2013. Make sure that your referral lists your name on her application.
- May 4, 7:00-9:30pm - Orientation
- May 5, 8:00am-3:00pm - Rehearsals, photographs and interviews
- May 5, 5:00pm - Pageant open to the public
Contest judged on: - Professional interview, including description of your charitable platform
- Evening gown

- On-stage question (finalists)

All candidates must be single, a U.S. citizen and a natural-born female. All applicants (excluding the Ms. division) must have never been married and never have given birth.
