The Miss DC United States Organization is happy to announce the 2014 emcees for shows being held May 31-June 1 at the Sphinx Club in Washington, DC. Emcees will be your 2013 Miss United States (previously Miss DC United States) Candiace Dillard and Rocky Parrish of CBS Radio, Fox 5 and Rockdeep Media.

MEET THE EMCEES:
27-year old Candiace Dillard was crowned Miss United States on July 7 representing the District of Columbia. A 2009 graduate of Howard University, Candiace earned a degree in Communications with a minor in African American Studies. Recently Candiace has appeared at Fashion Week activities in Boston, New York and Washington, DC. She is focused on developing her platform My Sister’s Keeper: a mentorship and women’s empowerment organization designed to give young girls the opportunity to interact with other women in their communities. She also serves as the official spokesperson of the Miss United States Organization, traveling to multiple cities in the nation. Candiace states, “I have always tried to live by the mantra that says, ‘go confidently in the direction of your dreams, and live the life you have imagined.’” She finds herself very grateful and blessed to have such an opportunity and hopes to make her country proud throughout her reign as your 2013 Miss United States.
Rocky Parrish is the creator of ROCKDEEP Media and a media contributor on Comcast Sportsnet, DC50 TV, and Fox 5, formerly of CBS Radio. Holding degrees in journalism and business from the University of Maryland, Rocky began his career by creating RIP Solutions, a marketing and management consulting company. As a consultant for Nike footwear including product development in Oregon, he established consulting relationships with several high profile athletes. Rocky currently resides in Gainesville, Va., working in marketing and management consulting and raising four children.
