Miss United States Announces Partnership with Miss World

On July 6, 2014, National Director of the Miss United States Organization Chris Wilmer announced a partnership with Miss World, the oldest, largest, most prestigious international pageant. Because the rightful winner of Miss United States 2014 Elizabeth Safrit, age 22 of North Carolina, was within the age requirements of Miss World (age 17-25), Mr. Wilmer extended the invitation for Safrit to compete at Miss World 2014 in London this December.

Please check back for details regarding this relationship with the 2015 Miss District of Columbia United States Organization. The World Search will be held as a different contest on different dates and criteria, for ages 17-25, with required residency, work or school in the District of Columbia.
