2013 Miss DC United States is Candiace Dillard


On May 5, 2013, Candiace Dillard was crowned your 2013 Miss District of Columbia United States. Candiace is 26 years old and resides in the District of Columbia. Candiace held the preliminary title of 2013 Miss Capitol City United States and in 2012 was awarded First Runner Up to Miss District of Columbia USA.

Other queens crowned representing the District of Columbia are 2013 Ms. DC United States Erika Thomas, 2013 Miss Teen DC United States Colby Muhammad, and 2013 Miss Junior Teen DC United States Laniya Diane Bullie. Please watch for more photos to be posted in the weeks ahead!

  • Miss DC United States Candiace Dillard, 1st Runner Up Tie - Gabrielle Jackson and Mary David, 3rd Runner Up Ashley Cortez, 4th Runner Up La Shawn Marie White. Most Photogenic Davrielle Grenway. People's Choice Markita Bryant.
  • Miss Teen DC United States Colby Muhammad, 1st Runner Up Vinielle Acha-Morfaw, 2nd Runner Up Emily Berriz. Most Photogenic Emily Berriz. People's Choice Dionne Wright.
  • Ms. DC United States Erika Thomas, 1st Runner Up Allison Hill, 2nd Runner Up Markita Bryant. Most Photogenic Nicole Almodovar. People's Choice Mariah Fletcher. 
The titleholders receive a prize package and entry to this summer's Miss United States national contest in our home city of Washington, DC, held July 2-7.

24 women attended the May 4-5 Miss DC United States pageant to interview and compete on stage for the titles. 2014 contests will open with preliminaries in the spring. Applicants may inquire with the state director Laura Clark
