Redskins Cheerleader Alumna Directs Little Miss DC

The Miss District of Columbia United States Organization welcomes Little Miss Director Jaqui Moore Sherrill serving DC, Delaware and Maryland programs for Little Miss and Pre-Teen divisions.

Jaqui has been cheering and dancing for more than 20 years. She cheered competitively throughout middle and high school and represented her squad at the NFL's pro bowl in her high school sophomore year. She then attended North Carolina State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. While there, she was a member of the NC State Dance Team and would later be named its Head Coach after graduation.

Jaqui relocated to the DMV in 2006 and became a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. As a 'First Lady of Football', she not only cheered for the Redskins but also entertained the United States troops all over the world. In 2012, Jaqui launched Throwback Cheer, LLC which is dedicated to giving alumni NFL and NBA professional cheerleaders a creative platform to teach, perform and educate others in cheer and dance. Jaqui also works as a Senior Consultant for the federal government. She and her husband reside in Alexandria, VA and have one son.
